Dear participants, parents and educators,

Thank you for your support and interest in our Gifted & Talented Scholars program. This summer, we will take a break from our summer enrichment opportunities for the fine arts, sciences, mathematics, and technology. We hope to offer iCamps again in Summer 2011.

Other enrichment opportunities

• The University of Arkansas College of Engineering will host a variety of dynamic academic summer programming in July. For more information and applications, please visit http://www.engr.uark.edu/summerprograms.
• The University of Arkansas Vice Provost for Diversity and the department of Pre-College Programs will host a free one-week ACT Academy, June 27-July 2. Only 50 rising high school juniors will be accepted, with priority consideration for low-income students and/or potential first-generation college students. Please contact Leslie Yingling at lyinglin@uark.edu for an application.

Again, we thank you for all of your support and your interest. It is a pleasure to see so many young people develop, grow, and make new connections while attending our summer programs. We love introducing students to the many academic opportunities that the University of Arkansas offers, and we eagerly hope to resume a full schedule of camps for our Gifted & Talented Scholars in Summer 2011.
